SHARE HCM 9.2 Training Overview

The following are typical HCM staff standardized job titles, associated job duties and corresponding training. Please go by the list of job duties to determine what training you need to take.

Employee Self Service User

Job Tasks: Submit timesheet, view pay advices, access personal information, view benefits

Required Training:

  1. Introduction to SHARE 9.2 (Web Based Training): learn basic navigation and the main SHARE 9.2 features. (PDF version)

  2. Introduction to Employee Self Service (Web Based Training): learn how to view your timesheet and enter time, manage your personal information, and view your pay advices and benefit plans.(PDF version)

  3. Visit the HCM Job Aids section of the SHARE Collaboration Center to access job aids related to submitting time, time reporting codes, modeling your paycheck, and more.

Manager or Supervisor (Time Approver)

Job Tasks: Approve direct reports’ timesheets

Time Keeper

Job Tasks: Report time on behalf of other employees and manage schedules

HR Analyst

Job Tasks: View employee benefits, review pay advices and view employee payroll data, review timesheets, payable time, and exceptions, run time and labor reports

HR Manager

Job Tasks: View employee benefits, monitor employee payroll data, review pay advices and update tax information, update time reporter data, report, and approve time, update task profiles and employee schedules, process sick buy-back, terminal leave process/payouts, leave/comp time adjustments, etc., run reports
